Five Indonesian delegates participating in the βAustralia-Indonesia Muslim Exchange Program (AIMEP)β travelled to Al ΎήΘιΚΣΖ΅ on Tuesday, 18 June 2019, to meet with our Junior School students and hear about their experiences as young Australian Muslims who attend βan Australian school in the ΎήΘιΚΣΖ΅ traditionβ.
After speaking with students, AIMEP delegates were given a tour of the school grounds, including a visit to our beautiful Musallah prayer space, housed in a 160 year old farm building, classrooms, displays of childrenβs artwork, and technology spaces.
Their visit ended with a delicious lunch and in-depth discussion about ΎήΘιΚΣΖ΅ education and the ΎήΘιΚΣΖ΅ ethos with founding Principals Ms Rahat and Mr Fazeel Arain, and the ΎήΘιΚΣΖ΅ leadership team.
What was the visit like for the AIMEP delegates? According to Ria Oktorina βMy impression of this visit was incredible, (it was great to see) how a school can combine the Australian curriculum with ΎήΘιΚΣΖ΅ education.β
